As we were sitting at work on the brink of the week of Christmas, my boss looked at me and said, “Can you take family photos for my mom as a surprise? Like, Sunday?” Luckily, I was available that afternoon and was excited to capture this sweet memory for her family! Her parents, brother and sister-in-law drove all the way to Lynchburg to celebrate Christmas, and I was so excited to be a part of the surprise! We met together at Glass Hill Venue on Sunday, and Rylie’s parents were so excited. The entire photoshoot was pretty much pass-the-baby-around, but I don’t think anyone was mad about it. Everyone in this family loves this little squish and their doggos so much—this shoot was such a blast!
Octavia and I worked at a local coffee shop together years ago. She was dating Nick back then, but now they’re engaged! She reached out to me before he popped the question about taking their engagement AND wedding photos! I was so excited to capture this moment for them as I had remembered hearing about their relationship a few years earlier. Although it was SUPER windy this day at Glass Hill Venue, this session was so fun. I am so excited to photograph their big day in just a few months!
This fall I took Caleb’s senior photos in Downtown Lynchburg and also did a mini session with the rest of his family. Caleb has an interest in photography, so it was fun getting to talk to him about that during our shoot!
