Izzy + Mady

Izzy + Mady

It feels like just yesterday I met with Izzy, her mom, and her sister Emma for Emma’s senior photos! Now, it’s Izzy and Mady’s turn! These girls have been best friends basically since birth, and when Izzy reached out to me about doing their photos together — I was pumped!

Everytime I photograph downtown, I end up discovering a new location, wall, backdrop, staircase, etc that makes each session unique! This time, I discovered a wall near 5th Street and the girls’ second outfits matched the vibe perfectly!

Jessica + John

Jessica + John

Jessica and John are the absolute sweetest! It’s always an honor to be chosen to photograph someone’s wedding, but the thing I love most about the day is feeling all of the emotions alongside my couple. Jessica and John’s entire day was filled with the Holy Spirit and an overflowing amount of love. I love taking a moment to look around the room and see all the smiles, tears, and laughter.

Their portraits are some of my favorite ever, and I think Old Pate Chapel is going to be one of my favorite locations to shoot, now!

Ressie + Jeremy

Ressie + Jeremy

Jeremy is the brother-in-law of a good friend of mine. When Ressie reached out to me about shooting their wedding, I was so excited! Once I got coffee with them and discussed the details, I loved how unique their relationship was and their desire to have a very relaxed, intimate wedding day.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 caused them to change their plans. Their wedding celebration has gotten moved to August, but they got MARRIED this past Friday at Hollins Mill Park! Ressie looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and it was beautiful seeing them say I do in such an intimate way with solely their parents on Facetime. I can’t wait to continue celebrating with them in August!
